Give Performance Space
The Video

Join us and invest in this city’s cultural future.

Give Performance Space is a capacity campaign to launch PS122’s growth as an organization with the goal of better serving the artists and audiences of New York City.

A City of New York–led code renovation of our home of over 30 years will further raise our local and global profile and, in turn, that of our artists. Our renovated space will open up a world of programming opportunities that enable the artists of today and the future to thrive through enhanced technological capability, flexible configuration and vastly improved stage space.

Meet the GPS Co-Chairs

  • PS122 is one of New York’s most important and vital cultural centers, a living repository of an indelible artistic history without which we would be vastly poorer.

    — The New York Times —
  • For me, PS122 isn’t just a venue that presents my work—it’s an artistic home where I grew up as an artist...PS122 cares about artists, and I don’t know what I would have done without PS122’s care for me.

    — Young Jean Lee, Obie Award–Winning Playwright/Director —
  • PS122’s support of emerging, nontraditional companies and artists is rare in this city and in this country right now...risk is something sorely missing in the American performing arts today

    — Audience Member, Anonymous —
  • PS122 to me has always represented innovation, creativity, bravery and commitment to oneself and one’s ideas. These are things that commonly get lost through our daily routines. PS122 helps me connect back to those ideas, which helps me stay sane.

    — Ivan Martinez, Board Chair —
